Ted Turner, media mogul and founder of CNN, has signed the Giving Pledge – a campaign that encourages the super-rich to donate the majority of their wealth to charitable causes.
Ted Turner began working at an early age with the tutelage of his father, who owned a billboard business called Turner Outdoor Advertising.
Mr. Turner was married and divorced three times and had five children, but none of them inherited his entire huge fortune.
The founder of CNN is also the second largest landowner in the US, with an estimated land area of 810,000 hectares.

Laurene and Steve have three children, along with Steve Jobs’ stepdaughter Lisa Brennan-Jobs.
According to International Business Times, Lisa revealed that she and her siblings received an inheritance from their father worth millions, but she was not involved in the distribution of his remaining assets.
