If you pay attention, Rock Lee from Naruto turns out to have a lot of similarities with Izuku Midoriya aka Deku from My Hero Academia.

1. Both started with unremarkable strength compared to their peers
Neither Rock Lee nor Deku are able to use the power they need to achieve their goals.

2. Both have teachers whose names contain the word `Might`
Rock Lee was a student of Might Guy, who taught him how to maximize Taijutsu techniques.
Similar to Rock Lee, Deku has All Might, who gives him the power of One For All.
